Changing Color on Brembo Brake Calipers. Did you guys paint or powderocat?

I asked my powdercoated and he told me not to mess with that and to just have an autobody shop scuff and spray them, apply logo and clearcoat.

He said stripping the caliper you can risk media in the internals which can cause the caliper to stick or fail.

What have you guys been doing and can anyone recommend any specific preperation or paints?
