Camaro rebates coming?
When I canceled my black/black 2ss/rs order, the dealer gladly accepted. Their words were "we can easily sell this car".
I look on their website, and it's still there. The week it got there it was listed for 5k over MSRP. It's now listed at MSRP on their website (internet price). Driving by a few other dealers, they are starting to stock them. Are the deals coming anytime soon?

You guys are lucky. As far as I know, the closest dealer to me doesn't have any available on the lot.

If you live up north I can see why they may still have it. Winter is coming. In the southern states they aren't staying on lots long. I don't expect to see any rebates until at least next year.

You see rebates when the car gets a few price increases.

Again I'm in the upper midwest. Minneapolis MN.There are 50 2SS's within 25 miles of my house. Most colors and some autos and some manuals. Very good selection.
Some are asking MSRP some are discounting 1000.00 to 1500.00. I don't know if they would go any lower as I've never made a firm offer to buy. What caught my eye yesterday was a 4000.00 cash rebate on the 2009 Corvette. Brings the base price down to around 41k. Now there is a lot of car for the money!!!! |

Once demand goes down you will see rebates. IMHO you will not see any sort of rebates for a minimum of 12-months + reason why at this time dealerships still cannot get any Camaros to stock. Here in Orlando, FL we have 5 Chevrolet dealerships w/ in 20 minutes of each other and if you are lucky 1-2 of them may have one on the lot for a day or so, most just do not have any allocation or as quickly as they order them they are on the way out to customers.
You have the Camaro convertible coming w/ in the next 12-36 months, plus the Z/28 version, and maybe the TT V6 model. Figure this GM is selling the Camaro with no direct advertising just word of mouth and what people see at auto shows, dealer show rooms, and the street. Your best bet is to take advantage of GMS if you can and the 60-day guarantee rebate or you may have to wait 1-2 more years until demand wears off Sean

There are many Mass and CT dealers that have 10+ cars in stock in the show room and on the lots. They cant seem to get rid of them up here.
