Well thats your opinion..... I would tend to think that most of the people around here think 400+ HP is pretty "Beasty"

Will this affect production that is already scheduled? Mine has a target production week of 9/7. Am I screwed?

Called my dealer and he said this was B.S. If you have a Car scheduled for production It will be assembled as scheduled... He said they may limit the number of SS orders from here on...

Hope he is right! I'm scheduled for 9-7-09 Production!

I dont think we quite have a grasp on whats going to happen production wise.... It should not "screw" you though. Maybe delay a little bit.

80% of all Chevy's exceed 30 MPG, and has more cars that get over 30 MPG than any other manufacturer (or something like that....don't make me look it up...I'm tired, hungry, and want to go home! )

It's all normal, SS's will still be built, people will still have to wait, all you current SS owners have your "rare" cars, blah blah blah......more V6 models will be built to attempt to approach the target market as the demand is still higher than production. They are 6 months into production and are near 45,000 cars built so all of us waiting will get our SS and V6 models eventually, GM could care less about devaluing your car if they could sell a billion this year they would!!

[QUOTE=JMAN311;871596]I look at it as a marketing ploy to keep the demand for SS's high. I'm just glad my order went through finally. If they had done this before my R6P order got pulled I'd be livid.[/QUOT
did you really order the 21st of october. I did too. I thought mine took for ever to get here. I picked mine up on the 3rd of august.
