Anyone put 3.73 gears on l99 yet?
I'm considering getting 3.73 gears for my automatic. I really want the car to pull harder from a stop as these cars are so heavy. Has anyone used these gears? and if so, is it a noticable difference from stock? I see a lot of 4.10 gear swaps, but that may be too much for an l99. Any quarter mile times?

I'm going with 4.10's on my L99, should be fine with the 6 speeds.

Any quarter mile comparisons between stock and after gear change?

Seems like tires that aren't as tall would have the same benefit.

there would be some similarity. I am going to use the 4.10s with the L99 and use a slightly taller tire.

I chose to go with the 3:73's for my A6. I think the 4:10's would have been nice, but i would be buying tires constantly. IMO they would be overkill if not on the track all the time.

I'm waiting to hear how you like the gears. What i'm most interested in is how much of a difference from stock does it feel? How much quicker in the quarter mile? Being that it's an expensive and serious change, I want to be sure it's worth it. I'm thinking this is a bigger change in a daily driver than a cam, especially because of the weight of these cars.
