Frio Canyon 3 Sisters Trip (Pic Heavy)

So, I've had my Camaro about a month now, and decided it was road trip time. The wife and I decided to head down to the Hill Country and do some cruising around. We hit Kerrville, Fredricksburg, Bandera, Leakey, Camp Wood, Utopia, Wimberly, San Marcos to name a few... High lite of the trip for me was getting to play on the The Three Sisters I've ridden them on a bike, but wanted to exercise the SS to see how it did. - No complaints! It's bone stock, and drove like it was on rails. Disclaimer: NO Traffic laws were violated during said exercise. Ended up with 1200 or so miles on this trip.

Have a bunch more curve pics, but felt it would get old.....

Looks like a fun ride. Thanks for sharing the pics. I'm going to put that drive on my to-do list.

The SACC crew is hitting the Three Sisters for a cruise on Saturday. I don't know if I'll be able to make it, but there should be some good photos/videos when they get done with it.

I love that place! I've been meaning to take the car and put the top down next time I go. I've done it on the bike and it never gets old!

It was a blast - also check out 16 from Kerrville to Medina. Another one is RR187 towards Utopia take the RR470 cut off back to 16 and into Bandera.
Sweet road, very little bike traffic.

Be careful, looking forward to seeing the pics and vids. Think I'll invest in a GoPro for the dash.

Sweet ride! First time in a car for me - A/C was nice since it was 102 outside. I remember riding it in full gear and it was hawt!!

Great cruise...The Centex Cruises group (a good mix of cars) did this ride earlier this year and is planning another soon. We Austin guys could do this cruise as our own group or join the Centex Cruises run.

One thing I forgot to mention - we got a relatively early start.... Didn't get jammed up by the rolling road blocks until later in the afternoon....

I wish I would've known that y'all were going on the 337 ride today :-(. I passed about 20 camaros today and they were heading towards Camp Wood. My white vehicle with a green stripe and light bar will be in the video :-)

The Three Twisted Sisters cruise with the SACC group was awesome! Definitely the hardest I've driven my car since I've owned it. We had 16 cars do the cruise and got some great pics along the way. We'll get some posted here soon.

Love the "roller coaster" section on ranch road 335 - especially doing the route counterclockwise -(In my mind it drive's a bit different going the other way but eitehr direction is a cool cruise)

Sorry I missed out on the San Antonio crew doing the recent cruise but we just drove it a couple of months ago with our Prowler Car Club and those light weight 2800 pound cars got to see first hand how a 2 ton Camaro SS with Pedder's suspension can out handle them despite the weight disadvantage!

Nice pics and it's always good to read about out having fun with their cars!
