if you just want to stay within the limits of the supercharger kit itself you dont really need anything unless youre gonna abuse it. the only concern is your cam specs. you might wanna change cams. and youll need a spot on tune. pretty much everything everyone else said lol...

550 rwhp and I'm good....looking to spend about 8 to 9 thousand.

Also if your cam is an aggressive NA cam, you may have to swap it out for best results and to obtain your reliability factor. And most importantly a nice safe tune.
It's a street car, I don't race it. Was hoping to just be able to to throw a supercharger on top and stay away from adding better injectors and what not. It's a pretty mild cam. Haven't talked to my shop yet. Just trying to get some knowledge on this before I do give him a call.

Okay, trailing arms are the bars that go from the rear axle to the frame, correct?

What are Toe rods?

Rear cradle bushings?

That's the idea...to stay within the limits of the supercharger itself..probably will change the clutch though. Most of my free spirited driving is on the interstate....hardly ever do burnouts.

You'll be at the end of your cars fuel capability at this power. You stressed reliability, which goes hand & hand with safety. You can get the ZL Pump, injectors and FPCM all for under $1000. Members are always selling these items in the for sale section. Boosted and Cammed I would not want to be on the limits of my fuel system. You should be able to add a Maggy kit, installed & tuned with these fuel mods for your forecasted budget.

Keeps everything inline/straight during "violent" or rapid change of direction. Wheel hops kills your driveline. All these mods stiffen up the rear end, with a result of better traction. Plug a guy like Chase from Apex Motorsports he's an active sponsor addressing suspension needs.

We like to Build the foundation before build the Engine.

LPE Dual Fuel pumps, can be installed now in preparation for adding a supercharger, this way you are good up to 800 RWHP on an LS3

ID-850 injectors purchased with Supercharger kit to support your Cam and Supercharger Combo.

Proper Pulley to match the supercharger cam headers combo.

Aftermarket Performance Suspension parts, starting with Trailing Arms and Toe links and a good Alignment, this can be done at the same time as the Fuel pump install when you drop the Cradle.

A 3 Bar Map sensor so the computer can read boost and properly calculate injector pulse and fuel pump control.

Proper tuning to bring it all together.

I would be happy to write you an estimate with just the components you need to complete your build.

Ted.

My total cost counting S/C was $9120 with 1000# axles, Roto-Fab CAI, Elite catch can, Spohn rear trailing arms, rear toe links, rear lower control arms, ZL1 fuel pump, Jannetty fuel rail upgrade, 72# injectors and dyno tune.

Most shops charge $1000 just to install a S/C.

That was only parts except the dyno tune. My buddy and I installed everything in my garage. Before selling parts cost was $9520. I sold parts $400.

With the mods I already have, would a pro charger be the way to go?

doesn't matter...all these posts still apply. 8psi is 8psi is 8psi is still, 8psi. Pick your style or brand. The difference is where in the powerband (delivery) and how the blower makes the power.

I would choose the D1SC for future growth if you get bored at 550....which you will!

Only downside to the Centri is you lose your CAI.

You've got tons of great recommendations. Its now up to you to choose. Whatever you choose, you cant really go wrong.

Good Luck
