People are scooping up the last of the mustangs before the 2015 fusion/mustang hits the dealers, plus the refresh of the Camaro isn't a huge hit as chevy expected... Huge jump in sales there for the last breed of mustang.

It should make everyone happy that sales are close like this. Only means they are gonna push harder to make better cars |

I think the mustang decline last few months was due to the flat rock assembly plant being down the whole month of July for fusion tool-up. Now its a "last hurrah" until production goes down in Dec to re-tool for S550.

Don't know about the 2014 not being popular...the local dealers don't have any. They are trying to push the 13's out the door, but still wanting full...or above sticker.

The 2015 has been leaked, I see ALOT of people scrounging up 13-14's before the Fustang is released. Maybe that is why the price hasn't come down much. Ford see's customers wanting the current or last gen of the s197.

I think they're holding the prices on the 13's because a lot of ppl are still looking and for those new. Dealers know they have the last of the most popular 5thgens. I wouldn't drop the price neither.

Looks like the 2014 refresh is killing sales

Does not seem to be the case at all.

Looking at the chart above, and it seems Oct. sales always go down a little from the previous month. The Mustang had an very good month though.

Maybe it's just in my area, but Ford was offering 3k back on Mustangs and 0% for 36 months. That's enough to get anyone on the fence to buy. GM hasn't really gone that route.
