I'm In the same boat. Of the 15 runs the other night, 12 of them were a 2.1xx 60'. The other three were due to wheel spin so they were up at 2.4xx. And that's on the the stock 275 p-zeros.

I really Didn't heat them up. Maybe one or two rotations just to clean them off. I was told "heating" the tires is pretty much useless on regular street tires. I also dropped the tires down to about 25 psi. I would power brake up to like 2500/2700. Looking back I think it's too high and I was getting wheel spin.

I hear people are pulling 1.9's on stock p-zeros. How much will a .2 60' difference help out on the top end?

Yep... except the P-zeros don't act like typical "street" tires.. they act more like a drag radial. I would say a .2 improvement in your 60' is good for .3 to .4 on the top..
