Good point

i believe the female is just complaining, to complain. like other things in life. it's the louder exhaust note they don't like. But we wont go there. lol

What i'm getting at, is that if there is any, it's not much more than stock. it's not the same as every other exhaust out there.

I am suprised the solo guys have not chimed in - they have a design that should, according to the laws of physics, eliminate most of the drone via a J-pipe AKA hermoltz theory.

Mine is welded. Yes removing the X pipe (it was not a resonated X pipe as others are referring to) and driving in Sport mode decreases the drone for my ears.

That's what I have installed and there's no drone at 1,500 to 2,000 RPM's in any gear, but as soon as I press the pedal, it really comes alive....

I went with Magnaflows, insulated the trunk floor, CAI, and have had V8 friends try to duplicate my sound. They say it sounds like a Maserati, but I am always in it so I don't know, it does sound good though...especially when I paddle shift.

OK! I get It! You want your v6 to sound like the mighty V8. There's only ONE way to do it and it doesn't cost very much.

Get you one!

And I didn't hear any DRONE, either!

No, I want it to sound better than stock. There are plenty of good sounding cars out there. The V8 does not have the market cornered on cool sound.

I did my own SLP loud mouth I style exhaust. I is rediculous lound/droan on cold start up. Once warm it never bothers me on the highway. I would like to tone it down though for around town. I never had an aftermarket exhaust on any car or truck that didn't "drone" on the highway.

My "drone" doesn't bother me but one of my last 4x4 truck had just headers and I ran it that way the last year I had it on the road 3-4K miles.

Maybe I am deaf but never heard anyone tell me that.

I added sound barrier under the trunk mat, and there is no drone in the cabin.
