Very good post, and it is good that everyone is telling the real story of what's going on. Like you said, the truth needs to spread and hopefully this will act as a warning to others.

highly improbable this company can get you into any court based on forum posts, nevertheless you show an objective and focused review of the company, appreciated

Is this the same guy that sells the ported throttle bodies? If it is then it would explain a lot of what I went through to get my core refund money back.

Geez man, sorry to hear about the situation elso.
My friend purchased an RX supercharger for his Camaro V6. Let me tell you, the shop we both take our cars too had to custom fabricate almost the entire kit. Now, it was supposed to be a "complete" kit. Ha-ha, well that kit was practically an R&D kit considering all the work that was necessary to make it work properly and safely. Brackets didn't work, the piping was so offset you couldn't even connect it, the intercooler wouldn't fit without cutting into the support, the fans had to be displaced, etc. It was an incredible nightmare. This kit is the kit that they sell and people are supposed to go YAY, a complete kit for the V6, and they expect it to fit. It never should have been released to the market with it's poor engineering. Our shop is fantastic, and builds incredible SEMA cars, and luckily, they did everything right and spent countless hours getting the car operating with the kit. Who knows, maybe the poor fitment and ridiculous components of the "kit" is why RX wants people to ship their cars to RX's shop so they could do the work (who knows how that would turn out) on the vehicle, and the car owner wouldn't have any idea of how horrible the kit fits. Now, this isn't my experience and I have no negative experience with RX, but since I saw the mess my friend and our shop went through trying to get RX to cooperate, and seeing the shoddy kits, I wouldn't do business with RX either. |

TCAT that is spot on about the kits. Every single kit is a custom kit, there is no standard kit lol.

Yeah, the other kits out there are all the same. Can't wait to read about the feedback on Rx's roots top mount supercharger.
Just blows me away that the owner denies the fact that I never asked for nor ordered the 7064 BW turbo. I even sent him the 1 x e-mail, 1 x PM from this website and sent him a Pdf of the receipt! Not to mention the price on the receipt reflects the price of the 7064. The 6258 is $300.00 less than what I paid on most BW Turbo dealer websites. So when I ordered the 7064 the other day, I told the tech of what was going on with my situation and he told me the 6258's are for Honda Civic type vehicles. He walked me through the BW matchbot over the phone and sure enough the 6258 is perfect for a 1.8 liter; 4 cylinder or twin turbo apllication. Just plain insanity. |

Actually as long as he's a sponsor here he can't do anything about your reviews with legal action and even after he gets booted from sponsorship here as long as said review was made before he was removed he still can't do anything. They should take these reviews as a wake up call not a slap in the face but all to often they go out of their way to intimidate people and we all saw what happened when ECS had an issue thankfully someone there came through and everything is good with ECS now. Some vendors could learn alot from that incident.

I new to the Camaro, but not new to motorsports. I have read your threads thoroughly and will take my business elsewhere. Thanks for your service.

True, I did send a data log since I installed my headers and added a list of my mods and wrote down the Rx can and haven't heard anything yet.

there co-owner had a major meltdown and blew his top at a customer then got on the forums elsewhere and lit up the customer again and it spread like wildfire they got a ton of bad PR from that but they eventually came out and apologized and made things right. It's taking a bad situation and fixing it something RX will never do they just find a new name to play peekaboo behind.
