The 500 in the 9s above is impressive but it was highly modded, IMO what is more impressive is the recent 11:25 @ 128 mph run by a bone stock 500.

don't get me wrong I love the times the ford is putting down I just don't come to this forum for that info.

IF I want to read about GT500's I go to the GT500 forum or off topic forum.

I have to agree because
The O.P. has a very low post count and drives a Dodge Durango and he posts a video of a GT 500 running 9s?
To me, that's really not a big deal. The car is modded with slicks and skinnies.

As mentioned in the previous post. A stock GT500 running low 11s is more impressive to me.

I'm all for hearing about fast cars (Ford, etc), but I find it interesting when people that don't even drive Camaros come to this forum just to post Mustang information.

If it makes sense to make a later comparison to other make cars, that's one thing. Posting it in one of the social groups might be another.

But to start a thread in one of the main forum sections by waving it in everybody's face just isn't a very classy move, and that's coming from this Mustang owner.

Happy Thanksgiving to all.

I understand that point completely, I do not own a new gen 5 but I have owned 3 Camaros a REAL 1970 Z28, 1971 RS, 1972 REAL Z28, I drag raced all three, so I dig SBC powered cars and was looking at the new Camaro before I made my purchase I have no axe to grind with the ZL1-SS guys I like the car.

White is the best color

In the end its all about respect. When you show respect, you tend to get more respect. Im a Mustang guy, but I like the Camaro and the ZL1 is a great car. Its nice to see what everyone is doing to their cars

Id like to know what was done to that 500. That was fast. Just curious to how much...or how little has to be done to those to get them there. My roommate and huge stang fan is debating trading in his '12 5.0 for a '13 500.. gotta love deployment money lol.

Nowhere nearly "highly modified". Just simple bolt-ons.
