tires

Vredestein performance tires, great results! last longer than p-zero's and they are not as expensive.

Do they make them in these sizes?

Yeah I'm interested in them as well, please PM me ASAP. Like the sound of dirt cheap, like to know how many miles are on them and the condition. Low miles doesn't mean they don't have much wear, calculate the burnout factor?

Yes. Just check tire rack or whatever.

I just got these wheels and tires from a ZL1 owner. I am not sure how many miles he put on them and I do not know if he was doing burnouts. I will be putting michelins on soon. When they come off I will put these GY's for sale on the forum. I do not drive my car daily. I have not driven more than 100 miles on them. I have never done burnouts on these.

What info did the original owner give you as far as milage on them. If its a dirt cheap price I'd be very interested in a spare set. I know I won't be getting high milage on mine once I'm all broken-in. I'm guessing 30,000 miles is pretty much maxed out on these very soft GY tires, summer only. Matter of fact, what are ZL1 owners averaging on tires? How many miles did you get out of them before you had to purchase all new ones?

I'm at 8000 miles, and I'm guessing there's only about 40% life left in the rears. They've got the same wear rating as the Pirellis on the SS. But the primary issue is they come from the factory with a ridiculously shallow tread!

I am at 6k and they are almost gone. But I do have about 8-10 track days on them. My brakes squel when stopping too.
