I like how they let you see what they want you to see...the only thing important there is the engine, suspension, and brakes..... in a regular camaro with cuts, different hood.

Wait until the above mates up with the final outer body

I want to see this Camaro run head to head with the 2011 GT-500 Mustnag.

What was that black car that passed him with speed of sound? Looks like a Ferrari.

This Camaro is suffering from heavy weight. It has the power but the weight is making it hard to be nimble. You see how nimble the M1 or the black car was that just vanished?

Looks like a Lexus LF-A.

Sounds like both the CTS-V Coupe and Z28 are using the same exhaust system. They both sounded identical at take off. They sound like it's an open exhaust.

+1 but the camaro also slows down to let him go by, you can see him put his turn signal on and let up

and then the gt500 trailing looks like a convertible...WTF...I sure hope the z28 is rigid enough to beat the coupe too

They weren't racing. GM is doing Z28 development on Nurbugring. They pulled over and slowed down into a passing area to let the LFA pass.

I wonder how much all that graffiti on the track hurts traction? You know how easy it is to chirp the tires on painted surfaces.

I was thinking of the same. There is way too much paint there, and it gets much worst when it's wet from rain. Isn't the track sealed and controlled by security? Someone could pour oil or diesel on the track and the cars would be history!

I hope that no one is expecting it to be as nimble as a Lexus LFA......

they are not pushing the Camaro Z28 all the way in that video, more like 8/10s or 9/10s though it seems to corner very flat which is good. It didn't show much push either or dive, a very tight suspension tune it seems to have. Especially considering that its likely pushing 4,000+ pounds around the track.
