Anyone have experience with JBA? Camaro or not

Its pretty attractive that you can get a full exhaust for $1800, but i do not
know anyone who has had any of their products.

Im looking for feedback/comparisons or any input on any vehicle you have had their products on

Thanks!

I have been dealing with them for years. Quality stuff, great workmanship. A little slow, but I'd rather have it right than right now. I definitely recommend them.

I just had their shorties installed on my SS. Dyno'd before and after, picked up 25 RWHP and about 25 lbs of torque. Also had the axle back installed after the dyno...sound is much improved yet not obnoxious. I dealt with Sean who is very knowledgable and professional.

Wow I didn't expect shorties to show gains that big! Do you have the dyno sheet? If anyone else has them hopefully they'll chime in too.

Very impressive gains. I'm looking into shorties and that amount of increase sounds great! Where did you buy them?

I have JBA shorties on mine. I bought them thru Summit Racing for a little over $500. It took about3 weeks to get them. They went on easy.

I don't see any JBA shorties on their website. Do you have a link by chance?

Did you install them yourself? They want (local SD) anywhere from $300 ~ $450 to install the shorties in my SS

If you did, how complicated was it? Did you connect to the existing CATs?
thanks

JBA is good stuff. Had their headers and midpipe on one of my previous cars. You can get their stuff in alot of variations with alot of different coatings to fit your budget. Very well made.

I did one side at a time. I installed the driver side from the top and it was fairly straight forward. Had I installed the passenger side first and saw that I needed to go in from the bottom, I may have done it that way for the driver's side as well. Might have been a bit easier.

The passenger side I had to put in from the bottom. Just not enough room to install from the top. I had to loosen the band clamp that holds the Cat to the rest of the exhaust and move the Cat/headpipe out of the way to provide enough room to get the header up in place, then bolted and clamped everything back in place.

Not a complicated install at all. No special tool required.
