MGW PROTOTYPE SHIFTER IS IN!!! STAY TUNED!!!

hey guys,

just letting you know its in and working great...gonna tweak in for a few weeks and then start making production pieces....

here is a teaser pic of our shifter installed and yes its hidden lol... sorry guys not just yet... but you can see the race knob we made for it like the one we do for the corvette ...it feels MUCH better than the stock knob....

as far as installation goes... i DID remove the tranny brace and lowered the tranny just as far as it would go because you really need to in order to get to those goofy pivot lock pins...they are just like the gt500 cobra has...once you get to them you can remove the whole shifter.

now for the good part...our shifter DOES NOT use the factory shifter body . it is a complete shifter assembly .you will completely remove the stock piece.

and ours has return springs built into it and feels like a tank...

here are some videos of the car running thru the gears car is bone stock hence how slow and quiet lol

more info to come soon

I didn't know authorization was needed? I just saw a thread that said specifically that it was not needed. If this is wrong please let me know before I get in trouble with the powers that be, and also give me the contact info you have so I can do things by the book.

Thanks,
Erik

Nice avatar. I am a huge LOA fan as well.
Almost had the chance to open for them a few years back, that would have been great.

i just talked to tran and you are right about vendors...we do not have to have permission just yet i just wanted to make sure...he will be setting up vendors soon.

is the shifter set lower in the boot? I don't like how high the stock shifter is.

the shifter will be height adjustable so you can set the knob height to your liking...

and we will be offering 2-3 knob design optionsd as well as a setup for your stock knob !!
