Took the SS to the track 126.67mph on boost only!
Well, it was pretty late when we got things done in the shop friday but we decided to go ahead and run out to HRP for some time slips. Last week, we took it to SAR with very poor results in the 60ft and no good video to prove we went almost 127mph on just boost so we never posted it up. This time we tried a different tire and did numerous amounts of testing and tuning on the street to work some bugs out. By the time we all made it out to the track and mounted the tires it was already 11:30 so we didnt have very much time. We decided to run one pass on boost and hot lap it to get a run on spray. Well the MT drag radials hooked better then we thought and the car booged down falling on its face getting out of boost. By the time it saw any boost was already after the 60ft. After that, she ran hard and Mike Pabon (the driver) was still able to manage a 11.52 at 126.67mph SHORT SHIFTING (watch video) with a 2.02 60ft. Not bad for a 4000lb car. When he came back to the pits, I opened the bottle and set it to come on at 2800 to help with the boost lag if it falls on its face again. Well, that pretty much ended up with completely blowing the tires off to car so bad Mike decided to just let off and ended up with an 18sec pass. Oh well, theres always next time. Im just glad we were able to drive the car back home without breaking anything. Anyways we will figure it out soon enough. Ill keep yall updated.

Awesome guys...it sure is frustrating though, trying to dial everything in on a setup for a new platform huh...We had some issues ourselves. Keep hammering at it and you'll nail it down. Your gonna have a ZR1 roasting car on your hands when you open that bottle.

No turbo here. Procharger D-1SC maxing 10lbs at 6800rpm.

How tall of a tire? 28 or 26?
