I thought the v6 was the commuting/ economical version of the car. Like my neighbor originally had an ss but he traded it in for an rs because he didn't want the power.. To much for daily use he said. He's an older gentleman.

just Yankin' your chain... more than likely...

I drove the LS V6 as a rental car.. and I will be the first to admit... I was pleasantly surprised when I asked it to shit and git.... it got up and went....

however I chose to go with a LS3 when I purchased... it was my money and my preference!

See, if you really wanted to ruffle some feathers, remind people that a 6 cylinder option has been available for the Camaro since the very first one was produce.

And here come the butthurt V6 owners. I'm perfectly happy with my purchase and I wouldn't even trade it for a ZL1 or Z/28. I know what my car was made for, and the V6 guys need to understand that too.

Still, I wanted to be like, "Well, so and so has the same 0-60...or blah blah has the same power to weight ratio"...but I didn't want to come off like I'm trying to justify my car. :P

I love it when twits use a rhyming, played-out saying when they try to be a know-it-all. next time, say something charming back like "That's not what they say about your mom".

Allow me to let you in on a secret, sometimes owning an SS isn't good enough either. The first thing they ask is "what all do you have done to it"

You just can't please everyone all the time.

I'm curious to know if the Camaro is supposed to be a V8 than how many times are you tracking it or gunning it from a red light... If your not gonna use all that power than a V6 would be a better choice in my opinion.

I didn't buy the best Camaro I could afford, I buy the things I want to afford.

Really?

I have had a 2010 2LT and a 2011 2SS/Rs. I liked them both. Had the 2LT for about 6 months and got the V8. I really liked the extra power but, I had to get rid of it because I needed a truck. I had to get rid of my 2011 Ultra Classic because of arthritis in my hands hurt to bad I'm 51. I traded it in on a 2014 2LS and I love it. Could have gotten an SS but I already bought a New Denali last OCT and didn't make much sense having two fire breathers sitting in the driveway. You get what YOU want and what YOU can pay for!!! Not everybody's daddy can buy them an SS. Yes even at my age I catch a bunch of flack from people about the V6 but, they get into their JUNKY old cars and trucks and leave. Haters gonna hate no matter what.
