stock spark plug wires

anyone know the specs on the stock spark plug wires? I have one that's going to go bad on the drivers side and was wondering if I used just a single msd wire that's bendable to not touch will if cause any problems?

are they 8.5mm or 8 mm. what kind of resistance per foot? hate to buy a complete set for one wire

I put longtube headers on and one was touching at the rubber boot. I trimmed it back so there is no contact. all better now. figured id replace it with one that didn't need cut back. all good now

Heat socks for your spark plug wires are great proection after adding long tube headers. I'm not sure what size the stock wires are but I upgraded to MSD 8.5mm wires and heat socks.

I had to use heat socks on my TBSS after longtubes, but the Camaro seems to be good as far as space goes. just that one had the issue.

I put 1 7/8 kooks on my car and had no clearance issues but used the heat socks anyways. I also had the headers ceramic coated.

my kooks were fine with stock plug wires on my SS, these 2" ones are a little big.
