For longer protection, most of us use a good sealant with good coat of wax over it.

I use Zaino. They say to wax once or twice a year with it. It isn't a true wax, but some kind of protective polymer.

I did a full detail with Zaino a few years back on my black Jeep. It gave it a look as if it were wrapped in cellophane I did not like it.

That's odd. Did you wash it with dawn first?

Not odd. That's how it looks in every picture I've seen.

No, it is odd, and maybe someone needs to look at more pictures.

I'll defer to the expert here.

Oh, is that how my profile picture looks? I've used it on 2 cars and my dad used it on his. They all ended up looking great. I would guess those other people didn't follow all the directions.

Great is in the eye of the beholder. Many sealants, zaino included, leave a plasticy look that is off putting to some. I'm not gonna argue with you, it is what it is.

If YOU like the look, keep using it. Nothing wrong with it.

I personally try not to use products from companies that can't even label their products properly, but that's just me.

Have you checked out the car detailing videos on YouTube? There are several options posted there.

Hey now, remember.. This is the Internet.. Everyone is an expert.. lol

Seriously though, I have used Zaino on the last three of my cars. Black 2001 Z/28, Silver 2011 Jeep Patriot, and now with my Black 2013 Camaro 2SS/RS.

It has done a great job on all of them. My '01 was used when I bought it, and I tried several top name waxes, and I was just not satisfied with the shine I got. The paint still looked lacking, no depth. Then I tried Zaino, which was highly recommended on Ls1tech.com and CamaroSS.com... Lo and behold, my car's paint finally had some depth to it.

Additionally, living in sunny Florida, we get beat up by the sun. Zaino lasts longer than any other wax I have seen used. Rather than applying every month, or two at the most with others, Zaino could go a good 5 or 6 months.

Granted though, there are certain steps to using Zaino. If you don't know what you're doing with it, YMMV.

Label seems fine to me. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

They call sealants polishes. Not really an opinion...just plain wrong.
