CAI installed...have to take it easy at first?

I just installed my CAI...do I need to take it easy for the first 100 miles? I've seen something about this with Vararam, but not about CAI.

I have the CAI intake for the v6. I don't remember seeing anything about taking it easy. I'm pretty sure I didn't! I don't drive my car too hard anyway though (not fast enough to do that LOL) But I think you should go ahead and drive it like normal!

The ECM relearns in a matter of minutes. No need to take it easy.

As long as you are out of the normal break-in period then have at it.

Well... vararam recommend 30 easy miles and 100 miles for a full relearn of fuel trims. If anyone actually took the time to see how bosch ecm behave after reset or when the air flow is altered, you will know that it does not take seconds for certain parameters to stabilize. Not saying it's a must for anyone to do what vararam recommend but some parameters does go through a relearn.
