Camaro SS vs the world
I'll post the video compilation soon. It's all 1080p, 10-15 races! He has 2010 Camaro SS auto with hypertech tuner, 102 octane mixed gas, fuse pull mod.
After hours of editing I'll post here. There was bone stock 2013 Camaro SS auto did 13.5-13.6 @ 104-105ish mph and a turbocharged one that was doing 11's @ 129-130 mph. I have vids of all of it. Here's his best of the night. He is car 775. That's bolt on California special 5.0 manual in the right lane. There was also a turbo 350z doing 14.4-15.1 @ 97-101 mph!!! Some kid that was talking smack to everyone at car meet. I'll post vids too of him. Ahahahahaha Last edited by 08-G35s/6MT; 04-13-2013 at 03:04 AM. |

Not too bad.
But he should sell that Hypertech tuner and get a custom tune by a skilled professsional. The difference should be several tenths. You really need to work on the shift speeds and especially torque management on the L99 A6. That can't be done with the Hypertech tuner. The day I ran my car (tune only by Jeremy Formato, 12.9 @ 108/109 mph) another Camaro SS (auto) was running 13.3 - 13.4s @ 105 - 106 mph with that same hand held tuner and a Rotofab intake. Weather conditons in the 70s and sunny (nice day). The stock L99 A6 running mid 13s @ 105/106 mph is pretty good. 106 mph trap speed can produce easy 13.3s with a litte better 60' time. |

Nope. Only when the DA is 2000+.
I almost broke world record in g35 few weeks back there. Friends broke personal records in their 5.0 track pack(12.9), srt8 6.1(13.1 @ 111 mph with tune), heads/cam 300C SRT8(11.2 on spray, 11.9 on motor), Camaro ss 2010(13.0 @ 107, handheld tuner only), Supra(11.5). The 300C ran 12.2 at TX2k13 and 12.1 in Tulsa, don't go out saying it's a horrible track. The DA is just what kills everyone. |
