Heres a pic of my door panel, it comes with cloth material and I want to change it to ABM like the IOM comes with the color matching trim.

Jayc we are trying to do the same thing i think we are going to order the 2ss trim kit and have them painted when the rest of the work gets done this winter (ground effects, engine cover (firepaint job) and some other interior trim as well.

So, does anynoe know WHY exactly Chevrolet stopped producing the ABM color?!?!? Its beautiful.

They stopped producing it because it was supposedly the "lowest produced color" and they are replacing it with Synergy Green. We can't understand it either but are glad to have a special edition color.

Actually, ABM was going to be eliminated due to low sales well before the decision to add Synergy Green was made. The plant has been running 1 color over capacity since Summit White was added. In essence, ABM became a special edition color as soon as Summit White was added. When Synergy Green ends, it won't be replaced with another volume color, but other special editions will be done from time to time.

Yes, the ending of the production of ABM has to do with not a lot of them being bought. The guy at the dealer said out of the 90 Camaros or so he has sold this year, only 3 or 4 were Aqua Blue Metallic.

Which doesn't make sense to me really..it's a beautiful color. I got mine last Saturday. I actually got very lucky, the state of Florida only had 4 left, and they were either special orders or being sold. But I got mine in a small town, and had them drive it down to me the next day!

The dealer near me did get one in that day (last Friday), and I called them to say I would come in after work to check it out and buy it. But within an hour before my visit, it was already sold! Crazy stuff, I thought I would never get to see a ABM again :(

But I got the number to the small town dealer and it all worked out. The car is gorgeous, I get so many stares and compliments. I'm very happy with my new Camaro!

i picked up my ABM on 11/30 best move i made i wanted the yellow had two ordered but dealer messed up one and couldn't wait for the other the dealer had the ABM with silver stripes looks so much better than yellow everybody is going to have yellow only a few of us are going to have ABM

I think a big reason people didn't order ABM is because of the color of it on the Chevy website. It doesn't show the true color (as with almost every color on the internet..different screens and other reasons).

That's okay though, cause it's amazing looking and now it's rare.

super rare, spasticsqurriel only shows a hand full in FL, but i know for sure theres one around here hmmm gotta investigate and seek them out once mine shows up.

Just picked up my new ABM Camaro !!! It is so awesome, I can't stand it. Every time I look at it, it changes colors.

Orlando and Tampa. Our car is fully customized (inside as well) for those that have not seen the car on here and those that want to see it in person are more than welcome to come see it.
