Water in Headlight?
It's been raining alot around here, and I noticed I have condensation inside my headlamp assembly. Is this a serious problem, and what should I do about it? Anyone else seen this?

maybe there was a little humidity in the headlights when they were sealed and now that its cold the water is condensing i wouldnt think water could get in unless youv tried doing some mods to them and damaged the headlights

They aren't sealed, there are vent holes. When there is a dramatic temperature/weather change, there can be a little condensation. It should be minimal and go away after awhile. If not, visit the dealer.

I had the same concern when I bought mine at the end of December. It has dried up nicely, except when it's awful out (like today.)

Well the water dried up pretty quick, but now I have a new problem...my left HID is out...the halo works, but the headlight is out. Anybody got any ideas? I need some help on this...does it just need to dry out? Is it kaput? Can you replace just the headlamp, or does the whole assembly need replacing? I know this is a warranty issue, but can I just have the dealer order the part under warranty and I do the work, or do I have to let them replace it?
UGH!!!

It's probably just the bulb in the headlamp assembly. I'd have the dealer order the bulb if they don't have it and let them replace it. Hopefully you won't get a ticket for a headlight being out.

I was worried about mine but they seem to evacuate the moisture fine.

I bought min recently (January) when it was about 20 degrees out and noticed fine condensation in the turn signal assembly - put it in the garage and it went away. Sometimes if I leave it out all day and come back to it, it's a little foggy but it seems to just be a cold weather issue.
