Yeah, I guess the Camaro is the wrong car for me then.

I went to the Ford dealership today. Let me just say this, the interior in the Mustang is very nice. The leather feels top notch, and most of the inside is soft, not hard. The door sills like up "Mustang".

Even the engine is nicer looking, although ofcourse isn't a beastly LS3. Can't be compared in power, only looks.

Once I test drive the Stang' I'll let you guys know.

If you're getting a Mustang and still want performance at least wait and see if they're dropping the Coyote engine in (December?).

I really love the exterior look of the Camaro, absolutely beautiful. I also love how it comes with 20's, Tapshift, and remote start. Plus the 426 horses

However, the interior of the Camaro was a huge disappointment. It may not matter to some of you but I really hate how you can't get an electronics package in the Camaro, it almost feels like GM is getting lazy?

Also, I hate how the HID's won't run in harmony with the flood lamps, why not? What's wrong with that GM?

I haven't fully made up my mind, and maybe I'll wait until the 2011 Camaro comes out to see what GM can bring, but for now, I'm not buyin.

GM is my favorite American car company, and I love Chevy, but I may take Ford's side on this one.

Convince me otherwise?
I have a niece that dates the owners son of a Ford dealership and he was going sell me a GT500 for 40000 and I chose to stick with what I believe to be the baddest mustle car built today.

Seen the 2010 mustang only one i would even consider is the GT500. My brother is a huge mustang guy has had many of them over the years and still does but even he agree's the 2010 exterior is epic failure. The interior redesign was well done but the exterior is kinda how do i say it feminine. My biggest gripe about the stang is the "me too" factor everyone has one.

Lolz. People kill me with this "everyone has one" attitude. Dude, its a reason why EVERYONE has one. Its a great car ! It's been around 46 years, and perhaps if the Camaro would have held up since 67....everyone would have one to..maybe..

Agreed, I think you'd have to be magic to sell "everyone" a crappy car.

I don't agree with the last part because lots of great products do not do as well as their competitors; it's the nature of the beast!

If my order on the Camaro goes south, I will definitely consider the GT. Ford has their shit together.

Hey man get what you want to get.

Do not let other people make up your mind for you..

The 2010 mustang gt is one helluva car And i cannot wait to see what ford is bringing to the table in 2011.

This is a camaro site so do not expect a lot of people to be saying the mustang

hey your supporting the Us automakers who could hate you for that?
(other then the Japs)

I know a crap ton of people here will say that mustangs are everywhere and blah blah blah.... But what im trying to say is that it is better to have 1 million American muscle/pony cars on the road then have 1 million japanease and Korean Ricers on the road

Let us know how you like the drive of the GT. I may yet get one if I have to wait forever on my SS order.

Get the car you want, but why come here and tell a Camaro crowd?

The possible reason behind no fog light with headlights is that alot of States (like California) have a maximum number of lights that can be one at one time on the front of a car (remember they count the parking lamps too). Besides why would anyone need to have 4 forward driving lights on in the front when the headlight make night into day with todays headlight technology.

As to the electronics inside the Camaro. GM has spent a ton of money on OnStar and beleives that it can be used in the same way as a NAV system. That is the reason GM has resisted going to screened NAV systems except on the very expensive models (Corvette and Cadillac). Buy yourself a handheld Nav, that way it works in any car you own, besides Nav and electronics are just a distraction from the driving experience. The last thing Americans need is another driving distraction.

For the record I like the S197 Mustang too but the Camaro blows it away in every catagory to me.

Neither the LS3 or the Ford Mod are good looking, in fact they are both down right ugly (that is why both have engine covers). Who buys a car based on how the engine looks, I mean how often will anyone see the engine anyway? Performance and durability is the measure of an engine, the LS engine have that in force.

I've test driven the stang. Interior and visibility is nice. Just can't get past the rear tail appearance. Camaro exterior appearance pretty much did me in..

I think everyone here has seen the youtube video of the supercharged camaro, that is just the start, wait until they have a few months of r&d, the camaro will be wicked

You do realize the v6 motor in the MKZ makes 355hp right?

Fact1. 355>304
Fact2. Mustang = Lighter
Fact3. Camaro = Heaver with less hp.
