I can top your complaint. How about buying a car and finding out a few weeks after that that the new car you bought had been severely wrecked and fixed before you bought it but we're never told about it. Dealerships are horrible to deal with no matter what! Sorry you are having a bad time with the new ride but I know all to well how you feel.

Law requires dealerships to disclose that type of damage. I mean they make a customer disclose that when you trade a vehicle in. You have a case where you could file suit shit i would if there going to be that grossly decieving.

I feel your pain. I too brought mine in for its first oil change after C fest. Of course it isn't my daily driver so I took it straight home and parked it in the garage until I washed it on the following Thursday for that weekends Camaro fun. Well what do I see my passenger side front wheel damaged. I immediately called the dealership. Of course they are our club's new sponsor. So that Saturday I drove it up there and showed them. It was when the tech drove up on the lift and came to close to the side lip and damaged the rim only. They are suppose to have one on order but that was like three weeks ago. Now I am worried about them screwing up the new rim, or not balancing it correctly. I don't understand why people get into the service business and not giving a crap. I am in the field service business for the oil and petrochemical industry. I always have to make sure I do thing right because I could kill someone if I don't put things back correctly. And these are CERTIFIED TRAINED TECHS. Well they forgot one thing, respecting property. I will definitely be standing there and watching them install the new wheel. Hopefully the paint matches the others. Hopefully they will take care of you and replace the wheel and tire.

Yes they are supposed to disclose damage, but they didn't. Oh trust me I wanted to sue them but after talking with my lawyer he said it wasn't worth it because there was only cosmetic damage. If there was Structural issues with the car then he would've pursued the law suit. I've now had so many problems with my 2012 Camaro I am going to do a lemon law on it.

Actually this is my second Camaro. The wrecked one was a 2010. I bought this one after they bought the wrecked one back.

Wow. That sucks. :( The damage is not the kind you would see from rubbing a curb so hopefully they replace the rim and tire. It is hard to trust when people do things like that.

Good luck on getting them to cover it. I hope they are a stand up dealership and make you whole.

What is the "law" or wording when they try and hide things from you when you buy a vehicle??

I took mine to goodyear to get the tire patched today and I was on them like a hawk. I made sure they knew the liftpoints and did a full inpsection of the rim and tire when they were done. I may have seemed overbearing but screw that this isnt my old beater.

I never met Ray Lewis nor i know who he is , but tomorrow you should keep your cool and explain to the service manager WTHH ( what the heck happen ) , be very polite and try to make you point across , i also know that's easier said than done , but the alternative will get you no where . Patience can go a long way .
