This is the web site www.topflightrepro.com C6removable front bracket kit part number 0010003-1. I didn't use the extra flat metal peace that came with it. I drilled 3 holes in plate bracket and used the splitter screws on right side.

Haha not at all, you cannot buy this anywhere. I completed it on the weekend and it pulls on and off just like a magnet. Looks completely stock unlike all the other systems.

I used the same Corvette bracket kit, but mounted in the center of the splitter. As mentioned in an earlier post, the plate with the bracket now sits in the trunk (but can be replaced in about a minute if necessary).

After looking at all these options I decided to trim the bottom of the plate so that it fits flush against the lower grill area. Hides it as much as possible while being in plain view. I'm going to bolt it straight through to the lower grill. No drilling of any kind required and I don't see cops giving me too much trouble since most plate surrounds block the section I cut off anyway.

^^^ That is what I was trying to explain earlier. I think I like that spot.
If you get a chance, can you take a picture from a distance showing the whole car? |

Have run almost 7500 miles in MD since last May and have yet to be pulled over for no front plate. I keep the front plate bracket in the bag the dealer gave it to me in the trunk just in case

Sorry, I missed the question about the part. I did get it at MacMulkin Chevrolet in Nashua, NH and they are a big Corvette dealer. I thought it was the stock Grand Sport bracket but I could be wrong. It looks like others answered already but if there is a question, I can look for the receipt when I get home.

I think thats what I paid, little steep but was the only one I came across last year........... I like the look of your heavy duty bracket cam you PM me the cost of yours? I am thinking a back up to have on hand would be a good idea.
