Advise on flat tire (what would you do )
Okay, so I have a flat tire.
I'll be driving the camaro through the winter and was planning on making the switch to winter tires around late November. Should I switch now or replace the one p-zero? I've planned on replacing all four tires in the spring as there isn't much meat left on the originals. |

Is the flat that bad that a patch won't fix it? It ain't cold enough for winter tires and you would just put excess wear on them. Get some new tires because you're going to buy them anyway. If stuff like that doesn't bother you, get some used or takeoffs. I was able to get almost new rears for like $200.

You'll be driving in snow (or at least cold weather) in a month. Buy the winter tires now. Start saving for "summer" tires now so you can buy them after your six months of winter is over.

Thanks for the advise.
I ended up having a local shop plug the hole just to get me through the next month. I'll be putting on the winter tires by the end of November. I just need to decide what tires to go with. Last edited by JBLUES; 10-10-2013 at 12:51 PM. Reason: spelling |
