The deciding factor for me between the two basic kits being offered from AGP and IPS, will be ground clearance. Our roads are VERY bad here. I'm getting conflicting reports which of the two BASIC kits hangs a bit lower after all is said and done.

AGP has nothing below the frame so no way to scrap it unless you are dragging the frame of the car, in which you have other issues.

Matt posted some pics. One of them is showing how they hang under the car when installed. |

Hi, am new here. Just recent bought a 2013 camaro 1LE. Am interested in added a turbo kit later on down the road. 800rwhp is my goal. I see a lot of you have the AGP and IPS kits. Anyone have any Hellion kits. Am all ears for listening. Thanks

Yes we did, Precision said beyond a doubt, the very first journal bearing turbos were due to an oiling issue.... The others (ball bearing) were simply a broken shaft... If it can be called simply... We were stressing the hell out of them with the cubes we throw at em... The new 76's I have no worries with...

Here's a few photo shos from the front looking back, and the sides. The base AGP kit is pretty nicely fitted so I don't think I'll be having any ground clearance issues whatsoever.

IPS with skid plate. I believe they got a new bolt style on the newer kits that has a flush head. This is non entry level kit with 4" intake. Turbos are about 3/4" below frame. 3" intake is supposed to be above frame. Hope this helps.

None of the turbo kits besides maybe an STS will work with long tube headers. Catbacks can always be easily modded to work.
