Stainless Works long tube headers?

Anybody have any first hand experience with Stainless Works headers? Apparently Kooks is on backorder and my supplier is trying to steer me to Stainless Works. Any input would be appreciated.

From what I hear, Stainless works is just as good as Kooks or ARH. I think all 3 are equally comparable. Not sure how comparable pricing is though, I think they're close.

How do you like your Magnaflow 3" Catback? Is that the 16483 kit you have? I'm thinking about getting it.

Love the Magnaflows!! I believe that is the right P/N. I'd have to look it up. This system has the two polished mufflers at the rear of the car. No front muffler. Sounds good and looks good.

The Stainless Works are a couple of hundred dollars less than the Kooks. He's had a $1300 deposit for 3 weeks now and I'm getting a little impatient.

My car is at Livernois Motorsports and they primarily use Kooks or Stainless...whatever they can get their hands on at the time of the build. Mine will have the Stainless Works on it. I trust their judgement on them...so if they use them, good enough for me!!

Stainless works has great build quality and customer service. A customer has a full SW exhaust and it sounds wicked. He loves it. I have a friend with a vette shop and that's all they use. Once I get my exhaust it will be SW headers and cat-back.

StainlessWorks makes a great header. The quality and workmanship are about the same as Kooks. Only thing I want to point out for full disclosure is that they don't have the merge collector or ball and socket connection Kooks does.

Thanks everyone for the support!

Our header to the factory connection point will include a slip fit collector with an integrated merge spike inside the collector. Works great & never had any problems with anything coming loose or leaking.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to PM or email me.

I have the SW headers and full exhaust and it sounds nasty! Have gotten so many compliments from people just driving it down the street. They are great people to work with also. It is a really nice product and i am very pleased with my decision going with SW.
