anti theft tips

i can see were this is going already
tip have dealer erase all key fobs and only set the fobs you get with the car. how easy would it be for a guy to have a 3rd key sell you a car then steal it back from you.

Happened to me with my 2000 WS6 Trans Am. Took it in for service, they lost the key and gave me a new one. Moved to a different apartment took another one of my cars for repairs gave the dealer my new address and within a week my WS6 was stolen out of my underground parking garage. Professional car thieves have contacts at dealers, pay them big money for keys and info on cars.

i laugh at posts like this. Id hate to say it but unless you are actually car jacked at gunpoint in some states and shoot, shooting at someone steeling a car will get you charged.

i agree who cares let it happen. have insurance, make sure its up to date and will cover the car.

Not trying to turn this into a political or a completely different type of debate.

But you don't know what you're talking about.

Back to topic though, I agree with everyone else... if they're brave enough to steal the car from my garage when I'm not home, or if they take it right from under my nose in a parking lot... oh well, let them have it.

It gives me an excuse to get a new one!!

if the thief has a gun yes you can shoot and if you dont step aside and he tries to take the car by force yes you can shoot. if you step aside and the shoot after he is leaving then you will be charged. Actually you will be charged no matter what. Then they will decide if it was self defence or not.

44mm S&W thats a big gun 44mag you mean.
