What I've seen on the internets is stock vs stock the camero pulls a length or two up to 100-110 mph then the mustang either stops the pull or maybe slightly pulls back a touch

The 4th Generation Mustang (SN95 1994-2004) had a mid cycle refresh for 1999 which included revised exteriors as well as modifications to the 4.62V (Non-PI to PI) which added around 20 HP and was a torque bump. The biggest mid-generation refresh was the 2009-2010, which brought around totally new exterior sheet metal, suspension, brakes, etc. In 2011, in the same generation, the 5.0 replaced the 4.6 and the 3.7 replaced the 4.0. Ford is much more aggressive and always has been in updating the Mustang with new exteriors and power trains than GM, going back to the beginning. |

I have 8 or 10 videos of me beating 6th gen Camaros at the drag strip. Doesn't mean much. Hell I have a few videos of me beating Z06s. Doesn't mean I have the faster car.

I can only present the facts. If the car would have run 12.0, or 12.3, that how the story would have been presented. Just because someone has a 2018 Mustang and a drag strip doesn't guarantee good numbers. Perhaps others who have tested one did not have the same weather or track conditions as I had, perhaps they didn't do a good burnout, or stage it as shallow, or launch it the same. The reality is the car ran 11.83 at 119.51 mph. Would it do that in 1,000 feet corrected air? Not a chance. Also, forgetting the DA, I had 30.1 baro, incredibly low humidity (26%, which rarely happens in FL), 57-62 degrees, plus a slight tailwind. The following day it was 75 degrees with 69 percent humidity.
Anyone who truly understands drag racing, knows the role weather plays. They also understand the importance of knowing the car and knowing how to get the most out of it. Personally, I think both cars are great and would love to test a new Camaro. |

I love the bench racers in here. They think they know stuff....but they really don’t know shit.
Carry on, this entertainment isn’t horrible.

The woodwork is emptying again. They must be sending over reinforcements from the Rustang forums.

do you truly believe that every car will run the same times in the same conditions? you believe every SS will run 11.77 given the same conditions? Every C7 Z06 is a 10.3x@134 car?
