I dunno about GT350R but there are regular GT350's available under MSRP. Since such limited numbers on the R I doubt you will ever find one under MSRP.

Yes. Just like when the 5th gen ZL1 got the LS9.

I doubt there are brand new GT350s under MSRP. AT MSRP sure. USED, sure. But not new and not under. Maybe I'm mistaken but last I checked a couple weeks ago there weren't.

There is a brand new 2018 GT350 in PA for $5,311 below MSRP. There are several in FL as well.

That's exactly what I said in my post above. Shame they don't have automatic transmissions. Here's to hoping the GT500 does.

As far as numbers go. If it does have 750 with the A10 then I'm thinking we'll see high 10 sec quarter mile times. That is they don't throw a shitty tire on it...FORD. And I'm thinking it'll be faster than everything except for the Demon, ZR1, and cars like the GTR, R8, etc. But I bet the price will be north of $75K. Maybe into the $80K range. And it won't have a sunroof option and probably not as many options as the ZL1 and HC/Demon. I hope it is more like $70K or less because then it would be hard to turn down. You guys might actually see me trading in the ZL1 and heading over to M6G, lol!! And then I'll swing back over here starting shit and trolling you guys!!

Lets hope Camaro does the LT5 with the 10 speed auto and some decent gear . I also hope Camaro at least will put the 10 speed in the SS with a touch more gear , the car should improve a couple of tenth's.

You could, but Ford isn't going to go that route.. let's just hope they put 4-6 piston calipers on the rear this time...

As I've said before, the GT500 will be priced well out of anything it competes with, save maybe the Demon...

Won't happen until the 7th gen at the earliest for the LT5, if at all. As for the A10 in the SS, lots of rumor mills that is happening for the refresh, but nothing concrete.

I womder what the gains from A8 to A10 will look like. Mustang's jump from A6 to A10 was notable because of the A6's shortcomings. As far as I can see the A8 is a pretty solid and efficient unit.

Theres always one somewhere every time.

Ford announces 5.0 and new 6sp for 2011 - no way it stays close to 2010s msrp - does

Ford announces 5.8, aluminum driveshaft, 662/631/200mph - it can’t be priced within reach of the zl1, it’ll start in the mid 60s - 54,9xx

Ford announces a GT350 R that can run with or beat a Z/28 - not for anywhere near the price of the Z/28 - Less

Rumors of a GT500 - it’ll start in the 70s, probably Demon priced - We’ll see.

Manual model without having all the handling options... 60,000

GM has the 10 speed, why not use it. It can only help. Also get rid of the V4 mode and those limited heavy lifters and converter issues.

I imagine it all comes down to cost efficiency. If the A10 is cheaper to use and provides gains, they'll use it. If the A8 is cheaper to use and in this application shows minimal gains, they may hold off.

I doubt they'll keep the A8, honestly. I'm just wondering how much better (because it will be) the A10 is vs the A8.

As for the V4 "issue" isn't that what the new skip-fire system is supposed to alleviate?
