Simulating different Gear Ratios

I have a 2010 V6 w/6-manual trans, 19" stock tires and stock 3.27axel ratio.

Is there a way to simulate going to a 3.70 and a 4.10 axel by temporally swapping rear rim size and tire combos?

Would doing this be an accurate simulation?
I want to know the feel of acceleration and use a GPS to see rpms at 60-70-80mph not just someone telling me the rpm, before I laydown all the money.

if you google fbody gear calculator you can figure out where the rpm will be at with different gears

you'd have to probably shrink down to a pretty small wheel....not gonna be easy to find.

with the weight of the car, big wheels and the 6th gear in the trans, neither gear ratio is going to be excessive to the point that it would become annoying...more just a matter of which ratio is better suited for you.

The difference in acceleration will be huge, wouldn't worry about that.

Going to 3.70 from a 3.27 would be a 13% increase in gear reduction.

If you take you current tire diameter & divide by 1.13 you would get the diameter needed to simulate a 3.70 axle ratio.

Do a tune to calibrate for the new ratio, then drive it, you can get a good idea of what the new speeds and shift points will be. I went 4.10 and and love it, they are perfect for me.
