I had the Ebay fiberglass ZL1 hood I opted to go with the ACS TL1 insert for the stock hood it looked more OEM.

Can you use the DRLs from your SS bumper? Also could you trim the absorber from your SS to fit the zL1? thanks

So I just had the Dealer install the ZL1 Bumper. everything looks great, their only problem was ( of course ) they couldnt get the fog lights to work. I bought this wiring harness, but the dealer is claiming it wont work ( of course not OEM ) . So looks like I will be installing it myself.

My question(s) how difficult would this be to install with the fascia installed already? is it even possible? or do i need to take it off?

I'm a tad bit confused on this harness too. When are the fogs on? And where does the red wire with the relay go

The red wire goes to the bolt in the front of the fuse box, its the 12V+ from the battery, and then if you got the one without the long (10') wire it comes on when the running lights come on, if you have the one with the long wire then it has to go to any swich that is hot when on.

DRLs yes...SS absorber yes, but more efficient to buy the ZL1 absorber....cut fit cut fit cut fit on SS absorber

It appears you sent the one with no switch wire. I presume I can modify this in the future should I choose to select when fogs are on by breaking the red wire with a switch wherever I choose?
