"Only people i see driving v6 camaros are 60 year old grandma's". Of course this person drives a dodge so i proceeded to say "only people I see driving dodges are the ones I pass broke down on the side of the road"

Coming back into the States from Canada last fall. I handed the Customs Officer my passport, he looked at me and said "1SS or 2SS?" I told him "2 of course!"
Handed back my passport, smiled and waved me through. |

I have had quite a few people ask to take pictures with mine. A lot think the black rims and black hood are custom add ons. Around here not many people (only real car freaks) know what a 1LE is.

The most beautiful car, beautiful color, never saw that color before. It never stops. Because....it's the truth!

Not exactly the 'best' but funny none the less...
"Why is there only half a stripe on your hood?"

I came out of a party store to find two guys staring at my car, one guy says to me, "Man your car just screams don't f*** with me." I enjoyed that one.

Could be because there aren't a lot of them around or weren't at the time but a year or so ago I had a guy compliment me by saying mine was the best one he's seen yet. He said the stance and the wheels and other subtle mods were perfectly done so as not to say look at me to overly draw attention but enough to look really unique and bad ass. One of his comments was that he could tell that my car was not only cosmetically done but the style in which I did it showed that I was someone who had the performance to go with it.
The reason I liked that comment so much is because I always took the 'Less is more' approach and was going for exactly what he said. To this day the best compliment I got on my car. |

I got a "Nice Ride!" from a construction worker next to my office. Same thing from the gas station attendant the day I bought it.

Red light in SoCal... an actor (recognize him as a character actor, but don't know his name) pulls up next to us in a sweet, loud, grey Ferrari California. While my wife and I were trying to ogle on the sly (you know.... out of the corners of our eyes), the dude motions us to roll down the window. He says, "Man, that's a beautiful ride!"
I returned the compliment (I think it's a law of physics or something, that all Ferraris are beautiful and must be complimented). (For the record, I offered to trade him, right there on the spot... he laughed and smiled, but declined... the light turned green, and that was that...) |

haha, Good stories.
On a side note, I get complimented on Bonnies car all the time and it kills me. Mine is still down so I have to tell them it's my wife's car. |

Its not much of the comments, its more of the looks and thumbs up you get everywhere you go. And its been almost 5 years since this car has been out!!!!!!!! Best comments hands down are from all these kids (ages 5-15) that give you thumbs up, start jumping/pointing, take pictures, and yell "bad ass car!"

I pulled up to an intersection behind a cattle hauler, he turned right and then the intersection was free and I had a couple girls in the car, so I hucked 4 donuts then went WOT and passed the cattle hauler. He was giving me a thumbs up out the window which was nice cause usually ya get the finger.
