Chrysler alive and kicking!
Well folks, Chrysler had a dealers meeting in Fl over the last few days and yes, a lot of new stuff coming.
The refreshed Patriot looks great, as does the 200 (Sebring replacement). Patriot http://www.allpar.com/model/jeep/patriot.html 200 http://www.allpar.com/cars/chrysler/200.html THey also got to see the new Charger and 300, a new small pickup to replace the Dakota, the refreshed Compass which apparently looks like a baby Grand Cherokee, the refreshed Avenger, new minivans and YES a 2012 Viper and a little hint a Jeep pickup is coming! http://www.allpar.com/news/index.php...own-to-dealers Also anounced the Challenger V6 will make 305HP, |

Hopefully it works out for them. They (somehow) are holding on without much in the way of new or competive product so things should look pretty good once they get a re-vamped line-up. Though they still need good midsize and compact cars for Dodge.

This thread is like talking about 2010 Pontiacs in 2008. The future is always grand when you ignore the literally thousands of past mistakes a company has made and the billions of dollars of unsustainable debt that was the result of those mistakes.
Chrysler will be liquidated in our lifetime. |

The Ram, Wrangler and possibly the Grand Cherokee could be worth something to an unknown Chinese company.
Viper may be worth something to a race team, but probably not in this depression. Every other vehicle in their lineup is subpar and worthless. |

because they all f-ed up in the past. this looks great and the leak of the new srt8 challenger sporting 475 hp and 460 tq with a "new" suspension " making it go 0-60 in the upper 3s.....sounds too good to be true but if they do it. they got me hooked even more than they do now. |

Thats going to take some sort of black-voodoo magic to accomplish. Few production cars with under 500 hp can do that, and none of the ones that do weigh over 4000 lbs.

either way the fact that they said that a 700 hp viper and a possible entry level viper with 500 hp might be in the works sounds even better |
