No enclosed trailer.... No plexiglass side window, no curtains etc...

Yup, a half ton truck... as for the power... I've got two vehicles in the driveway with a combined 1390 flywheel HP... and just over 1000 RWHP.. It'll do...

So, it's officially official... I'm a proud member of the Pedders Family...

I spent the day in Fredericksburg Texas at American Muffler getting my Pedders stuff installed... I must say it was an enjoyable day, and Heath Bratcher and Co, (Jimmy and Devlin) are awesome... Good guys to hang out with...

Pete showed up right before lunch and helped us through a couple of snags... More about that later, but suffice it to say it had nothing to do with Pedders or the installers, but rather with some of the aftermarket items previously installed... Keep in mind, the old adage you get what you pay for is somewhat true...

I arrived in Fred. around 7:00 am and had breakfast and then headed to the shop... Heath and Co were already there with the doors open... They got my car in as soon as we got it off the trailer...

Dis-assembly of the rear suspension started right away and it wasn't long before we discovered that we had a snag not easily resolved...

I previously had solid sub-frame bushings... and they do not require the bushing cup.. The new bushings were designed for use with the cup like the factory bushings are set up... Well... I'm pretty sure the cups are mixed in with some of my old parts... I hope...I'll know tomorrow...

For the time being, we used some big washers so we could carry on... and for future reference, if you take these cups out.. make sure you don't lose them... To get replacement ones from GM, you have to order the entire rear cradle....

So, we made more progress...

Pete stopped in and he determined the fix for a couple of issues, and we had every intention of going to lunch, but we were waiting for Joe, Racer778 to arrive.. Apparently there was some miscommunication and Joe was at the cafe eating and waiting for us...

He came by the shop after eating and visited... Unfortunately he had to go, Joe, thanks for stopping by and I'm sorry we didn't work the schedule out better...

Pete and I went and had lunch and then went to Kerrville to chase down some parts...

We got back to Fredericksburg to find the work progressing quite nicely...

It was a long day, I learned a ton, and enjoyed all the harassment and friendliness there at Heath's shop... We finished up with the alignment and then loaded the car onto the trailer for the trip home...

I can also mention that while Brandi was getting her pedicure...My truck got a little bit of work done as well...

They installed the air bag suspension... OMG, what a difference that made on the trip home...and around two hundred miles, I logged right at 10.8 mpg for the entire trip...

Pictured below, are Heath Bratcher, owner/operator of American Muffler, and Jimmy...

Devlin was the mechanic that did the work on the truck...

Thanks to all of you...
