I have a 2LT with the black rally stripes and I like them. It probably wouldn't look bad with the CGM stripes. I guess it depends on your preference.

Congrats, Claymore! How long did you have to wait for your IOM? I ordered mine on 7/18/09...already have a VIN#....and just waiting for it to be shipped to my dealer! The waiting!!!!

I guess if your dealer had an allocation when you actually ordered or not makes the difference. I ordered my IOM almost the same time you did (two days eariler) and I took delivery about 3 weeks ago.....so it won't be long and the permagrin will appear and probably never go away.

I ordered back on May 9th - so good news is that the rate of orders being filled is getting faster and faster.

My car was produced the week of 9/14 and was in my driveway on October 9th - so looks like you will have your car really soon !

You've got a lot of nerve painting the top of your car black in Phoenix!

What the heck is that thing on your front spoiler? Is that the attachment for the extended one that's missing?

The stripes were masked off before paint. There is going to be a hand painted metallic graphite stripe on the black/orange paint transition.

That is one of the mounting brackets for the 1st gen GFX kit. The lip fell off at 300 miles on the car at 80 mph. GM Manf. is sending out a 2nd gen front lip Monday.

I thought carrying the stripes over the nose would look too much like the older mustangs.
