Speaker size and upgrading interior speakers

Just verifying because I've read multiple answers on this. Also not sure of the front center dash speaker.

Also looking for recommendations on brands to swap out all interior speakers with and an amp replacement than I can hide in the same spot as our stock amp.

Door speakers: 6.75" with 1" tweeters up top of the door panel
Rear speakers; 6x9s
Front center dash speaker: ????

I'd say 3-400ish on speakers and 3-500 for amplifier. I know the FARK harness will run me 130

I have read that a lot of peeps here disconnect that dash center speaker. They say it sounds better without it. Haven't done it myself, but maybe something to think about.

I was under the impression that the FARK harness eliminates the center speaker.

The best answer, hit all of the local shops and listen to what they have to offer as audio is very subjective.

Start with the fronts and an amp. You should hear a noticeable difference. Plus it saves you gutting the rear of the car to get at the 6x9s.

I agree with everything you just posted, except the part where you don't replace the rear speakers. Yes, they're a pain, but totally worth it. The sound enhancement by replacing them is definitely noticeable, and worth it!

There's a bigger selection of 6.5 speakers versus 6.75, and the scosche adapters allow you to use either. If you don't mind cutting into your factory wiring you can save yourself the $130 and not get the FARK. There's pin out diagrams on here that show all the wires you need.

There's no need in cutting up your harness, just run some speaker wire. No need to trash the car for the next guy. If you need a plug-n-play connector, simply hit up Caspers electronics and send them a pic of what you want. Much cheaper than the FARK. I got one for sale if anyone is interested.

I am currently upgrading mine as well, let us know what route you take, my budget is the same. But I am adding a sub for a tad bit of bass. I think I can get a set of free air 15's in there
