Leaving boost - tune downgrade question
I am going back to N/A. I have a 416 stroker with a single turbo at 8psi.
How hard can I drive the car before I get a new tune? Would it damage it or just run too rich or will the MAF adjust the tune based on lack of boost? I have HPTurners pro, do they have public tunes after login, for a 416 stroker n/a?

You can probably drive it easy but I wouldn't drive it hard. But it can be hard to say since there are multiple ways it could have been tuned to start with. It might be in speed density and the maf isn't doing anything.
HPT doesn't have anything but stock tunes unless you find something on the HPT forum that someone has posted. |

Thanks. I think I will just go back to Vengeance and let them give me a tune update. I wasn't sure how much of a difference it would make exiting a boosted car. I know it matters going boosted.
