Just got a 4800 Event Code from Dealer

"I have always had it referred to as 4800 both by the Order placement folks at GM and by people here in the dealership, BUT, I have just been shown yet again that it's possible to learn something every day.

Although nowhere else in any of the other 20-odd events codes shown does it ever have any ALPHA character, they are all NUMERIC, that one code does display with a B. Don't know if it is a typo, or if we have all been using the wrong calling of it for these many years, but it does indeed show up as 4B00.

So, I stand corrected, and feel like I've learned something today. This will be interesting to ask my Chevy contacts about when I next see them."

So it sounds like... 4800 = 4B00 = Bayed

Just for curiosity sake, be sure to ask him to follow up what he finds out from Chevy in another email to you so you can post it here. The curious thing is that there appears to actually also be a 4800 event code as listed from the Saturn site by CamaroPete. What 4B00 does explain is why invoices are not available yet according to the list below.
