That is not acceptable. My 2010 looks better than that. I don't drive it during salt season, but otherwise, I drive in wet conditions and along the coast. I live 1 mile from the water.

This car looks like it's been in a flood.

All of you have the same reaction I did, and these are only a couple of pics....its like that all underneath. I just spoke to the general manager at my dealer and he forwarded the pics to the GM rep...we shall see where it goes from here....I love the car, the build, just worried this will affect the longevity of it and what else that I cant see that may be damaged.

Sorry that you are going through this with your new Camaro.

Hard to tell from the pictures if it was similar to the 2013 I bought, but you can find my thread below. I am at work and cannot post a link.

Wow, that is rusty. Out of curiosity, are the hats on the brake rotors rusty as well?

Ha! Good Luck with that one. They will deny it forever. I've tried. Plus it only covers body rust.

I have had 3 different 5th gens, none of them looked like yours and my '11 is still clean as new underneath. Something is up with yours, good luck to you.

I've never had mine on a lift but the some of the exhaust looks like this. None of the hardware seems to have any rust or corrosion. So, looking at two year old DD's here, what I have is NOT normal for a car that (I) have never driven in the rain and has only 2000 miles???

The car sat on a lot for 9 months not to far from the ocean. Also, it was delivered in February from Canada. It probably in countered salt somewhere along the way. None of that surprises me. That wouldn't phase anyone buying it here in PA. That wouldn't cause me to lose sleep at all.
