problem with Date on radio controls

does anyone else the problem that the car radio display does not keep the correct date??? everytime i get in the car the date falls behind a few more days.. like today it said it was 9/19/10 when in fact it was 10/03/10. whats going on???

YES, I am having the same problem but usually just one day off.It has happened a few times since we got the car in march.

Mine does this every once in a while, then it fixes itself.

Check over in the threads for the radio ect, I have seen several discussing this problem. I haven't had it so I didn't read all of the threads.

This is a common problem. There was a thread back in February, and this was the last I heard on the subject:


Date Issue
I've heard back from the radio engineer and he said it is an issue that is being worked on to fix. He said it's not available from Service just yet, so hopefully I'll find out when it is available and then you can visit your dealer for the update. Apparently the date can get off if the vehicle is turned off for more than 1 day on a month-to-month changeover, so I'm guessing you saw this when switching from Jan to Feb.
