door lock problem

I took my car in for its first oil change this weekend and the door locks have been acting up ever since.

I will go to unlock the car and the drivers side will unlock but when my wife tries to enter the passenger side, it remains locked. I will get in the car and hit the key fob again hoping for the passenger side to unlock and it still doesnt unlock. it seems to work on the 3rd try though.

anyone else have this problem?

1 click for drivers door, 2 clicks for both. At least that is the way it is on our Envoy. Give it a try.

There is also a fob unlock setting in the vehicle settings accessible via the radio, if I remember correctly.

Yes - it is programmable in the vehicle settings. You can change it to unlock both doors on the first push.

Default is first push unlocks driver door, second push (within a couple seconds) unlocks the passenger door.

Have you been able to figure out what was causing the issue with your key fob SHIZ? Thank you for your time.

I had my first oil chaneg done at the dealer last week, and when I got it back it appeared that at least some of the configuration settings, including the door lock setting in this thread, were all reset to defaults. My car did require the A/C recall also, so it is possible that that reprogramming caused the reset.

I was able to set the configuration back to my preferences without a problem, but hopefully this won't be required after every oil change.

Mine has always been set to unlock all doors with the first push, I didn't set it...
