Canadian ZL1 order dates

I thought I'd post this here instead of in the ZL1 forum, mostly because Americans don't give s#1+ about Canadian enthusiasts, but I have a feeling that Canadian orders will be allowed around 4th week of November.

So just a note for fellow Canadian ZL1 enthusiasts to give you and me some hope of joining the ZL1 owner world.

i would love to see which dealers are getting ZL1 allocation. i can't imagine many of our canadian dealers are going to get the numbers for the orders.

I think all the Canadian orders will be looked after. There are probably only about 30 or 40 cars being ordered across Canada for the initial order.

Most Large dealers will probably get at least a couple if they want them.

Count me out at $60k + $1. I'll wait for a slightly used one. Also wait for the hype to die down!

I've been told by a GM Canada Rep we should know in a couple weeks. On a side note the guy did mention that of the 1st run of 2012's... Only about 50 will be available to Ontario dealers. Yikes!

It still boggles the mind why we end up paying so much more for our vehicles than the US folks do, particularly when our dollar is pretty much at par and the damn car is built up here

This has always been a sore spot since the dollar is so close to parity. I'm still thinking of getting the car from the US. But we'll see...

I'm think between 10 -15K over the US prices. That'll put it pretty darn close to 70K or more out the door. I'll stick with what I got.

I have to agree with all who've posted.....this car will be in the $65 - $70 K range. For those $'s, I'll go with the original plan of adding a blower and suspension mods and still have money left over for when the motor blows up!!

You may not have the magnetic ride but you'll definitely have the HP. I"m hoping I have avoided the "Blow UP" thing by forging everything when I put the supercharger on More expensive, yes but pay me now or pay me later
