Not bad looking but nothing I would buy. If I had the $’s I would pickup a ZL1 1LE to go along side my ZL1 and put some of the remaining $’s into performance mods. Nice to see its available to those that are interested.

I would not buy it, period. Pontiac is still and forever dead. It's a overpriced clone.

Personally, I love them but then again I might be a little biased since they use our SPI Port Injection Kits and our carbon intakes

That being said, you can't compare this to a Camaro or even a production car, because its nothing of the sort, but a truly custom built car... no different than a high end pro touring late 60s car.

The 455 makes 800whp on 91 octane and could easily make more if a guy wanted to add flex and retune it with a smaller pulley too.

The car gets a $25K sleeved LT engine from Aarington Performance, the NASCAR and NHRA engine builder
A Port Injected Whipple Supercharger
Custom Wheels
Custom Suspension
Brembo Brake kit
Carbon fiber body parts all over including the T top mod (which growing up in an 89 Formula 350, I still LOVE! LOL)
Completely custom interior
and the limited production # of only a few ever made

To some it's not their cup of tea, and that's fine, but considering they bought the TM rights from GM for all of this as well, they have a lot of money to recoup too

You guys should checkout the show on Discovery. Pretty cool and I hate reality TV type stuff.

I am biased , having over a Dozen Trans Ams in the Past ,
Including a 74 Super Duty 455 , three of the 20th Edition Turbo Cars "With Buick Engines " 2 of the Black and Gold Bandits , one 4 Speed Pontiac Powered the other Automatic with the Oldsmobile Engine.
1981 was the last "Pontic Engines Trans Am . 1994 25th Edition with a Chevy Engine and the Last of Breed WS6 also a Chevy Engine car.
If there was a way to get the ZL1 version of the Camaro Trans Ams for about 80K I would have been a buyer . Instead I have these.

Nope. Pontiac is dead and gone. The Trans Am racing series is dead and gone. And no matter what they do to the bodywork, the VIN will forever identify it as a Camaro.
