That's a plus for sure. My friend has an 2006 he bought for low 40s and low mileage. Since then he did the whole head cam thing because he was constantly worried about it failing. Car is cool if you are constantly messing around or racing but everywhere else its rather annoying. To the point where he oht the stock cam back in it because he said it ruined the car. I actually looked into getting one as its roughly the same price of the 1le I went with however I couldn't get over the fact that I was going to buy a 7-8 year old performance car that nobody but the previous owners knew how its been driven.

thanks, I had planned on doing a maggie with lt headers on my vr 2ss/rs for abt
10, 000. I put that money toward the C6z instead.

AWESOME! glad you did it, mint zo6 with that kinda 546RWHP was a deal. Faster then most heavy camaros you will run into regardless of there mods. Not to mention SS camaros are dropping in value by the week, im seeing them go for 25k under now.

Congrats on the upgrade. Smart choice in my opinion as I can't say I regret selling my 08 Vette but at the time it was the best decision as the goal is to get into a C7 asap though my 13 SS isn't to bad of a backup plan until the C7 arrives.

I traded my 05 z51 for my 11 ss. I know not a z06 but still. Two different cars but still like the camaro as my DD.

The mods are.... wcch stage 2 cnc ported heads with ss valves, bronze guides, comp lsr cam 235/251,621/624 lift,113 lsa, k&n cai ,LG superpro long tube headers, corsa exstream Axel back,LMT dyno tune,559/510 on dyno jet.

No sound deadening in the Z06. I'm happy with the comfort/performance ratio of my 1LE, I probably wouldn't trade at the moment.
