The fastest way to get a ZL-1?

Hi,

I am totally new to this forum.
This appears to be the place that all knowledge is about ZL1

Where should I go if I want to sign me for a ZL-1?
I'm not a U.S. residents, so I can buy it "wherever I want."
Presume best deal should be in a zero-tax state, like DE or NH?

Hoping for good response,

Thanks
/ / Gus

Fastest way would be to go steal Jay Leno's ha

But seriously, i think its a little late now to get on the list for this model year. I think virtually all the allocations are spoken for. Might have to wait til 2013 buddy .

It doesnt hurt to call around to different dealerships and ask though. Maybe you will get lucky

Perhaps one of the dealer sponsors will be able to give you some advice.
Since you live over sea's perhaps they have already assisted other customers
in the past. Unless your willing to pay above the MSRP and have it shipped over your
self, it might be very difficult to acquire a 2012 model (short model year).
But the 2013 models begin late in the second quarter of next year, and
if your interested in a convertible you have that option (none in 2012).
Good luck to you and welcome to the forums!

Thanks,

Maybe I can get yours, see that you're on waiting-list for a -12.
Then you can get a -13 instead, great idea right?

You could talk to me?? haha... I have allocation but I dont know if I can afford it... (I thought it was going to be like 52-55k, but now I'm hearing rumours of like 67k). Since I can't afford the upper tier, maybe I could sell you my MSRP allocation (Plus "at supplier price if GM allows it" which they won't....)?

Is that legal? haha...

2010 Camaro SS modified extensively. I stretched the body to make it a 4 door, but I swapped in the 3.6L DI V6 for fuel economy. Then I picked up a corvette body around the V8. I also swapped the body for a C2 Z28. (In short I traded it for three cars, a Corvette Z06r, a C2 Camaro Z28, and a Cadillac CTS Summer Performance package 3.6L DI with Aisin 6spd.)

It was not a good rumor.
I do not believe in rumors, I just pass them on

But who knows, has heard anything from just under 50' up to your 67'
Seems strange if they price it over Cadillac CTS-V.

We will see..

I don't think it will be in the mid 60's. Because if they make it too much like bowtiesweden said then people will go to the CTS-V. They would be killing their own car for another. I believe it will start at 47K unloaded and go to the mid to high 50's loaded now if all dealers are going to be charging over sticker now u will get into the 60's. for people who have that much money to burn fine, but some people don't have that much too burn.

When I got my 09 challenger. My model year was the first run of all models SE & RT I went to a dealer and he said before we even sat down u know we are getting like 5,000 over sticker I quickly turned around and left. Challengers like the ZL1 and Camaro's in general where high anticapted and demand was high so dodge and chevy feed on that anticipation and demand knowing people will pay to have it

There is no way allocations are all gone at this point, find a dealer and order it.

Not sure if serious.....but the answer is yes.

I first saw this when the E46 M3 was new on the block. There were several listings on Ebay for just for the amount you would be willing to pay over MSRP to secure an allocation.
