Video of LSC BMWCCA #5 Autocross - 3 runs in video
My third time racing autocross was Saturday July 28. I took my ZL1 to an event at a large concrete lot at Pennington Field in Mineral Wells, TX. This was by far my favorite track so far. It was on a higher grip surface than the parking lot I raced in the first two times with a lot of room to open the car up. The track was a little rough though.
My top speed matched the temperature that day: 106. Despite the hot day and running back to back runs I didn't notice a drop in power or any brake fade. I did 10 runs total during two heats. The video shows three of my runs.
