Eibach Sways
Will these just bolt onto my 2010 V6, or will I need anything else?
http://m.summitracing.com/parts/eib-...s/model/camaro Good stuff or should I go Pedders? I'm not a performance guy, just want less roll in the corners and lowering is not an option as where I live there are some high road bumps into car parks :-( |

I too have the Eibach sway bars along with the Eibach lowering springs. LOVE em. I am not using my Camaro as a race car, so going with a cheaper set and using the money for other mods made sense to me. Sure did make it look better lowered and handles FANTASTIC too.

So I don't need any Rods or xtra Linkages?
Looks reasonably DIY to me ... |

I installed the front and rear sway bars myself. No problem there. As for the end links. I have done some hot laps at the local track during lunch breaks and the stock end links hold up fine for daily use. If you decide to push your ride to the 9/10ths and beyond during autocross etc. you may want to invest in after market endlinks.

I also have the the eibach springs and sways. Great bang for the buck. I would look at the full kit with springs. Shop around you'll get a good deal.

There seem to be two Eibach 'shape' versions?
Or are Sellers just showing the wrong photo's? |

There is a 2010-2013 regular version and a 2012-2013 ZL1 / 1LE version requiring additional links and or lower control arms for 2010-2011 models

When buying after market sway bars for the 5th Gen it is essential the rear bar is larger than the front bar. Matched diameter front and rear bars have an understeer bias. The best you can do is set the front bar to full soft and the rear bar to full hard to try and reduce understeer.
Even with the radically improved geometry of the ZL1 style rear bar, TEAM Camaro increased the rear bar diameter to 28 with a front bar diameter of 25mm. With the old style 10 - 11 rear bar much bigger than the front is much better. |
